Scheduled Maintenance

The key to keeping your vehicle running well is routine automotive maintenance. We offer routine maintenance, including routine 30k-60k-90k miles service, and routine service as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Oil Changes & Lube

We offer quick and convenient Valvoline synthetic oil changes. Every oil change comes with a complete vehicle maintenance check.

Lighting

Lighting checks are performed with each oil change. Our mechanics check all exterior and interior lighting systems. We are able to diagnose and fix all lighting issues with your vehicle.

Steering/Suspension

Steering and Suspension components are checked with every oil change. Our mechanics can replace all of the suspension components such as struts, shocks, springs, sway bar, and ball joints. We can also replace the steering components such as the power steering pump, power steering hoses, steering gear, idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods, knuckle and a wheel alignment.

Fuel Injection and Induction Cleaning

Our experienced mechanics perform fuel injection and induction cleaning, and are able to replace fuel pumps and filters.

Belts & Hoses

Our certified mechanics are able to inspect, diagnose problems and change drive belts, timing belts, and coolant hoses.

Engine Replacement

Our experienced mechanics can perform a full engine replacement or replace a certain portion such as the cylinder block, cylinder head, and valve train.

Coolant Flush

We offer a coolant system flush with valvoline cleaner, conditioner, and MaxLife coolant. We are able to replace your cooling fan, which circulates air through the radiator and AC condenser to release heat into the surrounding air.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is made available to every customer who purchases $25 or more in services. Our Roadside Assistance program covers up to two occurrences within a 365 day period.

We have had great experiences with D&R. Taylor (I believe the service manager) has been work with on a replacing remanufactured engine that didn't work out. It was installed by another auto shop in a different town, but needed replacing after 2. D&R did great work and was extremely patient as we worked the warranty claim. It's nice to know if we have another car issue for our GSU student, we know who to call.

4/19/22 - made an appt for an oil change.....everything went smooth as always. Appointment time was convenient and I was in and out in less than 30 minutesEarlier postD & R is my go to place for car service. They will truly work to get to the bottom of any issue you have. My most recent experience was an oil change due to the fact that I couldn't get a timely appt with Hyundai. Plus I also needed a new tire due to a blow out. Prior to this visit, D & R was able to diagnose an issue with my Nissan (2005) that three different Nissan dealerships could not accurately diagnose. It took 3 different visits and process of elimination of what they thought would fix it, before it was accurately diagnosed. The bottom line is that they didn't give up. My Nissan now drives again like a dream.

I am lucky enough to have a dad who doubles as a home mechanic, so I have been spoiled with trustworthy repairs my whole life. However, Statesboro is far from home and some things can’t wait for the next time I head back. I am always nervous to leave my car in the hands of people I don’t know, but D&R has absolutely earned my trust. My car was making a strange noise and I decided to take it to D&R since I have gone to them in the past for regular services like oil changes and tire rotations with no complaint. When investigating the source of the noise they were incredibly thorough and took my concerns into consideration. The person who worked on my car sat down and spoke with me about what they found and even went back to double check everything after our conversation. All around it was a great experience. They are definitely a great business to have in your corner if you want to get as much longevity out of your car as possible.

My son attends GSU in Statesboro and I live hundreds of miles away. His first car needed service and wouldn't start. I searched online and found D&R and from the Google reviews, years in business, professional website & proximity to the school I told him to have the car towed there.At first, due to son's inexperience with cars, he incorrectly told the tech what was wrong and the repair quote was more than he could afford. I called and spoke to the owner and explained my concerns. After a few minutes we both came to an agreement. I paid the balance and thought we were done.The integrity of Mr. Taylor was then revealed when he called me back to let me know he was gonna take a few more minutes to personally look at the issue to make sure his first assumptions were correct and less than hour later he called again to confirm that his hunch was correct and he took care of what could have been a recurrence of the same no start issue.I'm thankful to find there are still good people that do good business and make sure the job is done right the first time. God bless your business and for being the man you are.

Update: The customer service and the quality of the work is great.The people at the shop are nice, and the place is clean. You can make an appt online and can pay online. These things don't mean much if the quality of the work is not good. I have always taken my car back to the dealership, but I had an issue with my timing chain so I needed to get it repair locally. These guys did a great job, so I came back to have my rear brakes done and my cooling system flushed. Their customer service and quality of work has made me into a loyal customer. I have an Audi, but I will take our Honda's there as well.

Great service and a great team. I’ve been told the are alittle more expensive but they do an in-depth inspection with every one of my oil changes and are more than willing to make sure the job is done. Recently had them replace my suction line for my AC. A week later it seemed to be making strange sounds. They quickly got me scheduled in and checked everything they could with the AC and figured out it was more than likely the expansion value. In and out in a reasonable time and I know that if I need anything else done on my car they will make sure the job is correctly done.
